GUNGHA II is a modern, New Zealand built, go-fast maxi yacht. She is fast, stable and keen to be sailed by novice sailors. Heaps of space and shelter mean GUNGHA II can deliver awesome sailing in all conditions. Our cruise is exciting, funny and informal. We encourage our sailors to get involved. Our lunches are made fresh on board each day. They include a variety of colourful and mouth-watering local produce. If you're a vegetarian please let us know. Its not a problem.
We have heaps of sheltered seating, changing rooms and clean toilets. You should bring a towel, swimming clothes and sunscreen. Dolphins, Penguins & Seabirds are frequently sighted in playful groups so don't forget your camera!
Mike and Debbie have sailed throughout the Pacific and beyond, travelling over 60,000 miles in fifteen years. Departures daily from Paihia, Russell & Kerikeri (October thru May), Tonga, Fiji and beyond (June thru September).
